Shopping

Shopping, shopping, shopping....!!! Need I say more? probably not, but maybe you need some help to find spots in this shopping capital of the world.

Trendy, couture and on the edge at the Marais.
The Marais is a small district in Paris that attracts the fasionistas in the world. Here you find a mix of haute couture, vintage, trendy and pre-trendy. Besides fashion, there are many lifestyle shops, traiteurs and bars. Love it! Rue des Francs Bourgeois and Rue Vieille du Temple are the centre of this shopping heaven.

Gallery boutique 'Spree'
A concept were art, fashion and home design are brought together. They have made a selection of designers from the fifties to the eighties and contemporary French and international designers. Very expensive, but a nice inspiration source for the rest of the shopping day.

Urban and feminine at 'Les petites'
Here you find urban and feminine fashion collections. Nothing too extreme. Lot's of high quality fabrics like cashmere. Broad range of styles, so something there for everyone.

Home design, fashion, lunch and much more at 'Merci'
It’s located in a majestic, sun-lit loft where you can browse from room to room. The latest designs for your home, creative gifts four friends, original jewelry and off course fashion nobody else has yet to wear! Relax on a sofa in the book corner with a freshly-made lemonade.

Pure fun at '1962'
I love this store! It is a small boutique in Montmartre where you find all kind of fashion from different designers inspired by the fifties and sixties. Here I always find something I love and never would have thought of wearing. Also great gifts!

Tea, tea, tea!!! At 'Mariages Frères'
I always buy my teas here. For the pure quality, but also for the experience. Here you are back in the colonial days, when tea was something exotic trade men brought from far away. You can smell over 600 different teas straight form the tin. My favorites: Earl Grey French Blue, Pleine lune, Vert de Provence, Jasmin Mandarin, White Himalaya.
