Paris has one of the most famous museums of the world. The Louvre is even the biggest. But for those who already seen the Louvre, Centre Pompidou and Versailles I can really recommend the following:

My favorite museum of Paris: Musée d'Orsay
Till 1939 trains arrived at this beautiful railway station in Paris. Now, the most amazing paintings are making this place my favorite museum. Monet, Manet, Renoir, Cezanne, van Gogh, Degas, Rodin and many more are part of the permanent collection.

Beautiful architecture, history, Arabic music, a real zouk, mint tea, cous cous and so much more. Do not forget to visit the nearby Institut du Monde Arabe. An architectural masterpiece of glass and metal. You’ll find a fine museum, a Lebanese restaurant and tearoom on the 9th floor offering one of the best free views of Paris. A relaxing massage, scrub and steam room at the Hammam next door makes the visit complete!

This is impressive house of the art collectors Edouard André and his wife Nélie Jacquemart. André collected mostly works of Italian masters. He met his wife Jacquemart when she was asked to paint his portrait. After his death she expanded the collection. Besides the art collection, you get a great look in the Parisian life late 19th century. Use the audio guide, it gives the visit a new dimension!
